Training Course "Changemaker 5.0" in Hollókő, Hungary (Funded)

Open call for participants from all EU member states to apply for the personal development training course "Changemaker 5.0" in Hollókő, Hungary. This training course is organised by "Egyesek Youth Association" and co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus+ programme.

 

About Egyesek Youth Association 

Egyesek Youth Association is a community of active youth and young professionals. It contributes to creating communities based on solidarity, where people are aware of their own freedom of choice, they do what they love and connect with each other peacefully. Egyesek Youth Association has over 20 years of experience in the field of youth work and implementing many programs with Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps.

About "Changemaker 5.0" training 

"Changemaker 5.0" is an 8-day personal development training course for those already guiding either groups or volunteers of young people, who want to improve their performance, based upon the principles of self-awareness, resourcefulness, and accountability. The main methodology for the activities will be personal growth or self-reflection, which means that the training will focus mostly on your mindset and attitudes rather than providing you with practical skills or models.

The training is here for you to: 

1. Reflect on your mindset: attitudes, values, and beliefs
2. Realise how your mindset affects your behaviours, the outcomes you get, and the relationships you have with others in your working environment.
3. Acquire models and tools to align yourself with your main values, while being more inclusive towards others and unforeseen situations.
4. Put your experience into practice and exchange best practices with other participants

Program Built-UP

Self-Reflection (Days 1 to 4) : During the first 4 days, you'll have the chance to get a better understanding of your mindset and its basic elements such as beliefs, concepts, and habitual behaviours as well as how they impact how you interact with people and the outcomes you typically achieve in life.

Real life implementation/Outdoor (Days 4 to 7): You will be required to finish multiple assignments in the local communities around Nógrád county.  You will be able to apply the skills you have learned over the course of the previous Training Course days.

Final steps (Day 8): The last day in the program will be used to arrange follow-up actions, close the TC, and wrap up the learning experience so that the insights may be taken home in an organised manner.

Eligibility | Who can apply?

This training is addressed for participants who:

- legal residents in one of the European Union countries;

- Aged over 18 years of age, there is no maximum age limit;

- have experience in youth work field or working with young people: staff members and volunteers of youth organisations, youth leaders, mentors of young people;

- Abel to communicate in English language since it's the training language

- are willing to engage in a challenging program towards self-reflection

- Able to attend in whole the training activities from the beginning until the end

Practical conditions and Benefits

- There is a contribution fee of 70 EUR to be paid up front through bank transfer ( only for selected participants)

- Accommodation, food, and the training materials will be provided by the program.

- The training course will be held at Creative Space, A Youth Centre in Hollókő which is suitable with all its capacity for a group with various learning needs.

- Participants will be accommodated in shared rooms with private facilities.

- There is a huge meeting room, some cozy areas, a dining area and a huge garden for our use.

- According to Erasmus+ program rules, there are limits for the travel reimbursements depends on the direct distance between your place and the project venue as follows:

for travel distance between 100 and 499 km: 180 EUR / person

for travel distance between 500 and 1999 km: 275 EUR / person

for travel distance between 2000 and 2999 km: 360 EUR / person

- For this training program, It's recommended to use Green travel with bigger reimbursement budget. More information on this will be provided for those who get selected.

- Participants are responsible for their own travel insurance. If you arrive from an EU country make sure you have your European Insurance Card with you!
