An excellent opportunity for young leaders from all over the world to attend the "One Young World Summit 2024" in Montreal, Canada. "One Young World Summit" is one of the largest international conferences that is held annually. It will be held this year 2024 in Canada for 4 days. This summit is organised by One Young World Limited, a charity registered in England and Wales.
About One Young World
One Young World summit is an international community brings together annually more than 2,000 youth leaders in various sectors from more than 190 countries around the world, working together to accelerate social impact in society. Through connecting, exchanging insights, and drawing inspiration from influential figures such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman, and Mary Robinson, delegates collaborate to find solutions.
Upon returning to their communities, these delegates become One Young World Ambassadors equipped with valuable connections, insights, and motivation. They leverage this network of over 15,500 young leaders worldwide to advance ongoing social initiatives or launch new projects.
One Young World is dedicated to recognising impactful young leaders across the globe. Through scholarships, exceptional individuals with demonstrated leadership and change-making abilities in their home countries gain the opportunity to participate. The Leading scholarship initiative specifically ensures representation of outstanding young Europeans at One Young World Summits.
Eligibility
- You are a young leader in your community and aged between 18 -30 years.
- The One Young World team will consider applications from those over the age of 30, pending demonstration of appropriate personal influence, initiative and willingness to participate.
- You have a clear commitment to making positive change in the Society.
- Have a proven track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas.
- Demonstrate ability for Leadership.
- Are addressing key local or global issues in your work.
- Are a national (passport holding citizen) of one of the eligible countries from Africa, Asia, Americas, Europe, the Pacific and the Middle East.
Expenses and Benefits
there are some scholarships to attend One Young World Summit 2024 for free. the one we are interested in and will apply through it is the Leading scholarship which includes the following:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, Canada.
- Free hotel accommodation for 4 days from 17-21 September 2024.
- Catering which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Travel Expenses to and from Montréal, Canada will be covered, Your flight to and from Montréal must depart from and return to one and the same international airport.
- If you are ultimately selected for a Scholarship and require a visa to enter Canada to attend the One Young World Summit 2024, you will be required to pay the visa fee (165 Canadian Dollars) yourself. Visa fee is not refunded.

Selection Process
The selection process involves shortlisting the strongest applicants by mid-May 2024. If you are shortlisted, a member of the One Young World team will contact you individually.
Please keep in mind:
- Priority will be given to applicants from countries underrepresented in previous summits.
- First-time Summit attendees will be prioritized over One Young World Ambassadors.
- Due to the high volume of applications, organisers are unable to respond to individual emails regarding the outcome of the Leading Scholarship selection process.
- Feedback regarding non-selection reasons will not be provided.
