An open call for 6 volunteers from ESC Program countries to apply for a long-term ESC Volunteering project with "Europe 4 Youth" organisation in Krakow, Poland. The volunteering project will start in February 2025 for a period of 6-12 months and all expenses regarding the travel, accommodation, food, insurance, and pocket money will be provided by the host organisation with the Fund of the European Solidarity Corps programme.
About the volunteering
Selected volunteers for this volunteering will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate in a team of six volunteers, sharing responsibilities at our Youth Centres.
- Assist Europe4Youth's work, focusing both on the local community in Kraków and international mobility programs.
- Gain experience in facilitating and coordinating workshops and activities, while developing skills as Youth Workers.
The volunteering period begins on February 1st and lasts for either 6 or 12 months, with the possibility of extension during the activity. Volunteers will typically work 4 days a week, 7 hours per day. Their role in the youth centre includes supporting the coordinators and creating their own workshops and activities for youth, based on personal passions and interests they wish to share with young visitors.
Eligibility | Who can apply?
- Motivated and engaged volunteers aged between 18-30 years old;
- Volunteers must be a citizen or legal residents in one of the following countries (Albania, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo * UN resolution, Latvia, Lebanon, Palestine, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova (Republic of), Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Türkiye, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine);
- Having a good level of English language to make communication with the project coordinators possible;
- Socially active and interested in learning more about the world of ESC and Erasmus+;
- Proactive enough to come with ideas for workshops and activities they would like to share with youth in Krakow;
- no specific requirements when it comes to studies.
Expenses and Benefits
- Volunteers will be accommodated in a two-story apartment with a triple room, a double room, and a single room, divided based on gender distributions of the 6 volunteers.
- Apart from the 3 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 living rooms to hand out together.
- The volunteers will receive monthly money for food and personal expenses, payed at the start of every month and following the standards of ESC program directions.
- Reimbursement for travel tickets according to ESC Guide will be done after the project according to the following limit. We encourage participants to travel GREEN with more days to travel and a higher travel limit.

IMPORTANT: Please remember to keep all the original travel tickets and give them to our coordinator, who will reimburse you after your return back home - and no later than one month after the training course.
