Erasmus+ training course "CommuniCARE 4.0" in Poland (Fully Funded)

An open call for 30 youth workers and youth activists to attend the Erasmus+ Training course "communiCARE 4.0" which takes place in JastrzÄ™bia Góra, Poland, from 15-22 March 2026. The training course "CommuniCARE 4.0" aims to introduce participants to principles of empathic communication and, in a safe space, practice empathic communication skills. This training course is organised by the "Innovation Institute Foundation (Youth NGO) from Poland and co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme.


About "CommuniCARE 4.0"

CommuniCARE 4.0 is an intensive training course for youth workers from across Europe and aims to introduce participants to principles of empathic communication and practice empathic communication skills. The organising team intends to achieve the abovementioned aim by following these objectives:

To introduce participants to assumptions of emphatic communication

- To provide a space where participants can explore their feelings and needs

- To reflect on ways of communicating with people daily

- To reflect on relationships with others and with self

- To train multiplicators who will share emphatic communication principles in their local community with young people

- To create a space for establishing new international partnerships in the field of soft skills.


Eligibility | Who can apply?

- Participants must be youth workers who work with youngesters.

- Participants must be a minimum age of 21 and be a resident in one of the following countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland)

- You should be actively involved in the activities of your sending organisation as a volunteer, employee, external expert, trainer, or facilitator

genuinely interested in getting to know the empathic communication approach and sharing it in their local community with youth

able to express freely in English, as this will be the working language of the course, and we will be working a lot with words and language.


Expenses and Benefits

- There is no participation fee to join this training course 

- The training will be hosted in dom wczasowy VIS (address: Krolewsk 13, 84-104 Jastrzbia Gora).

- Accommodation and full board are covered by the Erasmus+ grant.

- Participants will be accommodated in double and triple rooms with a person from another country of the same gender as you. If you are not comfortable with that, contact the organisers in advance

Linen and towels will be provided, and the place is supported with free WIFI

Travel costs are covered based on the distance between the participant's place of origin and the activity venue, according to the Erasmus+ distance band calculator, as follows:

  • from 10–99 km - €28  (standard travel) - €56 (green travel)
  • from 100–499 km - €211 (standard travel)  - €285 (green travel)
  • from 500–1,999 km - €309 (standard travel) - €417 (green travel)
  • from 2,000–2,999 km - €395 (standard travel) - €535 (green travel)
  • from 3,000–3,999 km - €580 (standard travel) - €785 (green travel)
  • from 4,000–7,999 km - €1,188 (standard travel) - €1,188 (green travel)
- Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser for recognition of their competence development during the activity. 

Note: Travel reimbursement will be refunded based on the real costs of the tickets up to the Erasmus+ limit. Please note that to be reimbursed, you need to keep and provide to us all your

Notes: The Gdansk airport (GDA) is the most convenient one as JastrzÄ™bia Góra is 80 km remote from this airport.  As soon as your flight, bus, and train details are known, the organisers’ team will provide you with further information about how to get to the venue.
